At the CSC we believe offering opportunities to A-level students is an important part of developing future research leaders. Our summer students not only complete a project based on the current work of one of our research groups, but they also attend demonstrations of the facilities and techniques used throughout the Institute, and learn from each other about the research going on in other labs by giving presentations on the final day of the programme.

Our A-level programme runs for 4 weeks in August. Recruitment is undertaken through the Social Mobility Foundation and student stipends are funded by the Nuffield Foundation.
