The aim is to disseminate the latest in scientific research to the arts communities. Senior scientists engage with art and design students and professionals in a workshop format giving students the chance to brainstorm ways of translating scientific principles into design models. Previous workshops have explored themes of Epigenetics (2007), Model Organisms (2008) and Evolution (2009).
In 2010 we will explore Synthetic & Systems Biology. Past workshops were funded by the Epigenome Network of Excellence. In the future we will be inviting new workshop sponsors. For more information, please contact Brona McVittie (x38247).
