All candidates for PhD training must meet the academic requirements of Imperial College for postgraduate training.
Full-time students must hold a first class or upper second class honours degree (or its equivalent) in an appropriate science subject from a recognised university, and usually also a Masters or equivalent experience.
All European and International students MUST complete a recognised English test (eg TOEFL or IELTS) before they will be permitted to register with Imperial College. Full information on Postgraduate English requirements is available here.
